What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi Craft Maintenance Technician position at ZSG?
- Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of machines
- Constructing, installing, maintaining and removing all types of machinery and equipment used as a part of or a supplement to the plant operations.
- Machine shop work, tooling, pipefitting, mechanical work, carpentry work, sheet metal work, and rigging. Multi-Craft Technicians are required to furnish their own basic hand tools.
- Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, repair, spill containment, clean up, and recordkeeping of environmental systems.
- Performing basic structural welding tasks as needed.
- Perform all the necessary duties and responsibilities related to lubrication of machines, equipment, vehicles, and buildings on plant grounds. This consists of, but is not limited to the following: changing or applying oils, greases or compounds in the above-mentioned areas to reduce friction and prolong life of moving parts; cleaning and changing oil filters; servicing air line lubrication and filtering equipment; cleaning both inside and outside of hydraulic units and oil reservoirs; taking oil samples; and repairing any minor miscellaneous leaks found on equipment while servicing.
- Establish lubrication routes and know proper lubricant, amount, and attention required at each location.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
