Maintenance Associate / Industrial Maintenance Technician
We’re hiring a Maintenance Associate / Industrial Maintenance Technician for an established automotive manufacturing operation near Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment failures and production downtime issues.
- Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair involving bearings, gears, belts, chains, seals, piping, and other mechanical components.
- Perform equipment installation, replacement, rebuilding, and machine repair.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
- Use precision measurement tools and proper maintenance practices when repairing equipment.
- Perform fabrication and light welding as needed.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with rigging, equipment installation, and related plant maintenance activities.
- Work closely with production and other maintenance professionals to resolve equipment issues.
- Follow established safety and maintenance procedures in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of industrial, commercial, or military maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, bearings, gears, belts, chains, seals, or related mechanical systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, or schematics.
- Welding or fabrication experience preferred.
- Machine repair and equipment installation experience preferred.
- Electrical or electromechanical experience is beneficial but advanced PLC programming experience is not required.
- Well-rounded, hands-on industrial maintenance or multi-craft background.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as part of a larger manufacturing team.
