Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Location: Kingman, AZ
Compensation: $44-48/hr Profit-Sharing Bonus
A leading North American steel manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join its team at a steel mill operation in Kingman, Arizona.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems. You will work closely with maintenance, operations, and leadership teams to keep equipment running safely, troubleshoot electrical issues, and help implement solutions that improve the steelmaking process. The right person will take ownership of their work, support a strong team culture, and uphold high standards around safety, housekeeping, reliability, and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial steel mill equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Work with AC/DC motors, power distribution, transformers, and control systems
- Support safe equipment operation and minimize downtime
- Propose and implement solutions to maintenance and production challenges
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Support plant safety policies, procedures, housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational needs
What We’re Looking For
Qualified candidates should have:
- Strong fundamental knowledge of electrical theory
- 4 years of industrial electrical experience, or a combination of trade school training and hands-on electrical experience
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance in an industrial setting
- Willingness to work in a steel mill / heavy manufacturing environment
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a team-based culture
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and take ownership of equipment reliability
Preferred Background
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Formal electrical theory education or electrical trade training
- AC and DC motors
- Power transformers
- Programmable Logic Controllers
- Electrical safety practices
- Forklifts, mobile cranes, or other mobile equipment
- Steel, metals, mining, cement, paper, lumber, chemical, automotive, or other heavy industrial environments
