About the Role:
We're looking for a Laboratory Technician II to join our clinical laboratory team. In this role, you'll perform high-complexity testing using immunochemistry and chemistry methods to analyze patient samples, helping ensure fast, accurate results for the healthcare providers and patients who rely on us. You'll work hands-on with high-throughput analyzers and ELISA technology in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab environment.
What You'll Do:
- Perform high-complexity testing on patient samples using immunochemistry and chemistry analyzers and ELISA
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting as needed
- Use our laboratory information management system (LIMS) to track and analyze samples
- Review test results for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain quality control standards and follow SOPs to ensure CLIA, CAP, and state regulatory compliance
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals, liquid nitrogen, and biological specimens
What You Bring:
- Bachelor of Science in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or equivalent science credits qualifying you to work in a high-complexity laboratory
- Five years or more years of general laboratory experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical or research laboratory
- Familiarity with immunochemistry/chemistry analyzers and ELISA technology
