Position Summary
The Global Benefits Manager leads the strategy, governance, and administration of global benefits programs—including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, workers’ compensation, and leave management. This role ensures compliance across jurisdictions, manages vendor relationships, drives cost discipline, and delivers a competitive total rewards experience. The position partners closely with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and regional HR teams to ensure operational excellence and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Benefits Strategy
- Design and optimize global health, welfare, retirement, disability, and ancillary programs
- Benchmark plans and recommend enhancements aligned with financial and talent goals
- Develop a multi‑year benefits roadmap
2. Workers’ Compensation & Leave
- Oversee workers’ compensation administration, claims, and vendor performance
- Monitor trends and implement risk‑reduction strategies
- Manage global leave programs (FMLA, statutory leaves, disability, parental leave)
- Ensure consistent, compliant leave practices
3. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR (as applicable), and global regulations
- Manage filings, audits, reporting, and plan documentation
- Monitor legislative changes and advise leadership
4. Vendor & Broker Management
- Serve as primary liaison with brokers, insurers, and TPAs
- Lead RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage SLAs
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews
5. Open Enrollment & Employee Experience
- Lead global open enrollment strategy and execution
- Develop communication materials and decision‑support tools
- Ensure system integration across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms
- Drive employee education and benefits awareness
6. Financial Management
- Lead benefits budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling
- Analyze claims, utilization, and premium trends
- Prepare executive‑level reporting and dashboards
7. Wellness Programs
- Design and implement wellness and preventive‑care initiatives
- Promote safety and wellbeing; measure engagement and ROI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
- CEBS, CBP, SHRM‑SCP, or similar certification preferred
- 8–12 years of progressive benefits or total rewards experience
- Experience with global or multi‑state programs
- Strong background in workers’ compensation and leave management
- Experience in PE‑backed or high‑growth environments preferred

Work Environment
