We are seeking an experienced Construction Recruiter to support high-volume hiring needs for a 3–6 month remote contract. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates across a range of construction positions to meet project timelines and workforce demands.
Expectations
- Managed full-cycle recruitment for construction roles including skilled trades, project managers, superintendents, and laborers
- Partnered with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, project timelines, and required skill sets
- Sourced candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks
- Screened resumes, conducted interviews, and evaluated candidates for technical skills, certifications, and cultural fit
- Coordinated and scheduled interviews between candidates and project leadership teams
- Maintained a pipeline of qualified candidates to support ongoing and upcoming construction projects
- Negotiated offers, compensation packages, and start dates in alignment with company policies
- Ensured compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and union requirements (if applicable)
- Assisted with onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and new hire documentation
- Tracked recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality
Required
- At least 2 years of construction industry recruiting experience for both skilled trades and construction leadership roles (Carpenters, Laborers, Foreman, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and hiring across multiple job levels.
- Familiarity with construction, architecture, and/or project-based industries is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based environment.
