We are seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead crews in the installation of water, sewer, fire, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows underground work inside and out and can run a crew safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and supervise pipe crews installing water, sewer, fire, and storm systems
- Read and interpret plans, profiles, and grade stakes
- Coordinate daily activities with project managers and superintendents
- Ensure proper trenching, bedding, pipe installation, and backfill procedures
- Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality workmanship
- Enforce job site safety in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards (including trench safety – 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P)
- Verify utility locates and ensure all excavation follows Sunshine 811 requirements
- Manage crew performance, training, and accountability
- Coordinate with equipment operators to maintain efficiency
- Conduct daily safety meetings and job briefings
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years experience in underground utility construction
- Proven experience as a Pipe Foreman or Crew Leader
- Strong knowledge of gravity sewer, force main, water main, fire, and storm systems
- Ability to read blueprints, elevations, and laser levels
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of trench safety, soil conditions, and OSHA regulations
- Valid driver’s license
