Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator position manages all logistical planning for the facilities. This role is responsible for planning truck schedules, managing inbound and outbound schedules, processing transaction paperwork, adjusting delivery dates, dealing directly with our customers’ carriers, and escalating issues to the Supply Chain/Operations team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Coordinator is expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions based on the business assignment (detailed):
- Responsible party in supporting the food safety culture of the company.
- Ensure the shipping schedule is built and maintained efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and injury-free environment by ensuring all employees and visitors understand and execute safety, fire, and risk procedures.
- Direct communication with customers and the shipping teams for our customers.
- Respond to any email correspondence relating to logistics or to scheduling appointments.
- Scan and file all relevant logistics documentation (BOLs, Receivings, etc...)
- Order any relevant office supplies.
- Primary point person for any logistics issue at the assigned location.
- Answering calls and directing calls to others is a daily task in this role.
- Data entry into the Zoroco Packaging ERP system.
- Issuing purchase orders through the company CMMS system.
- Participate in safety projects and on safety committees.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work without supervision and set expectations to reach the goals .
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required (associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of ERP experience entering data and managing logistics schedules (IDS or Deacom ERP systems preferred).
- 2-3 year’s experience working with logistical scheduling and/or paperwork.
- Demonstrated ability to meet this position’s goals while fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; some areas of the manufacturing location could be extremely cold or hot. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high; some areas require noise protection.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
