Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
- Educate clients on proper pet care, including grooming maintenance between appointments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience( At least 1 year of experience in Pet grooming.
- Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and appropriate grooming techniques.
- Experience in heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Background in customer service with excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
