Install Laborer Responsibilities | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As an Install Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our installation projects. You will work alongside our experienced technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the installation of drain and sewer pipes for both residential and commercial properties
- Cut pipes to desired lengths
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials
- Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
- Excavation, to lay pipes
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
- Preparing work areas by clearing obstacles and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Providing support to technicians and installers as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Adhering to all company policies and safety regulations
- Experience in excavation including pipe installation, pipe bursting, and pipe relining preferred
- Willingness to "get in the trenches" and expose lines by hand
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
