What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP BTP RAP UI5 Consultant position at Zone IT Solutions?
You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using the RAP model, focusing on OData V4 services, integration with UI frameworks like Fiori Elements/UI5, and connecting with various SAP and BTP services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop RAP Applications: Design and implement using SAP RAP (managed & unmanaged scenarios), including CDS views, behaviors, draft handling, and transactional processing.
- OData V4 Services: Build end-to-end OData V4 services and integrate with SAP Fiori Elements/UI5.
- Reusable Artifacts: Create reusable CDS artifacts and extensibility frameworks within BTP.
- Integrations: Connect BTP apps with S/4HANA, ECC, CPI, Event Mesh, Destination Service, IAS/IPS, and more.
- Performance & Compliance: Optimize applications, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with SAP clean core/cloud-ready practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps for secure, scalable solution design.
- Documentation: Prepare technical docs and participate in architecture discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- SAP RAP expertise (managed & unmanaged)
- CDS views, annotations, metadata extensions, and behaviors
- OData V4 services & Fiori Elements
- Integration experience with S/4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, IAS/IPS
- Cloud-native principles: Multi-tenant apps, BTP deployment
- Version Control: Experience with gCTS or ABAPGit
