- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper sanitation practices and temperature controls.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service times.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision using proper knife skills.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Short Order Cook or in a similar fast-paced food service environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
- Experience with dietary department protocols and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and fine dining service enhances your suitability for this role.
- Skilled in food handling, safety procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen setting.
