Location: Heater Road Clinic – Lebanon, NH
Department: Primary Care (Internal Medicine & Family Medicine)
Contract Duration: Jan 19, 2026 – Apr 18, 2026
Shift: Day | 5x8 | 07:30 AM – 5:30 PM (8 hours/day)
Weekend Requirement: Rotational Saturday 07:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Pay Rate: $1,700/week (Traveler) | $30/hr (Local)
Local Radius: Within 75 miles
Job Overview
Heater Road Primary Care provides comprehensive care to patients across all age groups—from newborns to geriatrics. We are currently seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant for an ASAP contract need. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained in both Internal Medicine and Family Medicine workflows and will play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for exams and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs; promptly inform providers of any concerns.
- Support patient care activities including:
- EKGs
- Urine dips
- Pregnancy testing
- Hearing and vision screenings
- Lead testing
- Vaccine administration
- Assist clinicians during procedures.
- Handle prescription refills and general administrative tasks.
- Contribute to a clean, efficient, and patient-focused work environment.
- Participate in rotational Saturday shifts and occasional evening/holiday coverage as needed.
Required Credentials
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA through AAMA or RMA through AMT)
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambulatory care experience
- Primary care experience
- Experience with pediatric through geriatric patients
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Immunization experience
- Computer proficiency

The Heater Road Clinic offers a collaborative atmosphere and valuable exposure to a wide range of clinical skills. The MA team supports both well and acute patient visits daily.
