Job Title: HW Test Engineer
Location: Warren, Michigan (Onsite)
Type: Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Testing of hardware prototypes including but not limited to PMIC, smart fuses & load switches, sensing (V/I/T), microcontrollers, memory, and automotive ethernet communication etc.
- Verify and analyze OCP, UVP, OVP, current limiting, inrush, short-circuit, thermal limits and protection features, faults, power sequencing & timing, load profiles.
Skill Requirements
- 6 yrs experience in Automotive HW engineering.
- Testing of hardware prototypes including but not limited to PMIC, smart fuses & load switches, sensing (V/I/T), microcontrollers, memory and automotive ethernet communication etc.
- Verify and analyze OCP, UVP, OVP, current limiting, inrush, short-circuit, thermal limits and protection features, faults, power sequencing & timing, load profiles.
- Experience with laboratory testing and measurements using power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMM, electronic loads etc.
- Experience in using flashing & debugging tools like Lauterbach.
- Experience in using automotive ethernet tools (Vector tools/Interpid tools) is a plus.
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- BE or MS in Electronics.
Experience
- 5 or more years of experience in hardware design and testing.
