Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Developer (React) to design and build modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, and front-end architecture, with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable front-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable UI components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and responsive interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement state management using Redux, Context API, or similar solutions.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and work closely with backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ensure application accessibility, security, and performance standards are met.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6 ).
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS, and responsive web design.
- Hands-on experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture and React Hooks.
- Knowledge of Webpack, Vite, Babel, or similar build tools.
- Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Next.js.
- Knowledge of GraphQL.
- Familiarity with Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI, or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
- Basic knowledge of Node.js is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in UI/front-end development.
- Proven experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
