Travel Oncology Pharmacy Technician – Gold Beach, OR

Curry Health Network is seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacy Technician to support a new Infusion Center at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach, Oregon. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.

Assignment Details

• Location: Gold Beach, OR
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: June
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Additional: Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare chemotherapy and infusion medications in a hospital/infusion setting
• Perform sterile IV compounding in a cleanroom (USP <797>)
• Handle hazardous drug compounding (USP <800>)
• Ensure accurate labeling, preparation, and staging of medications
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to support infusion workflows

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Recent hands-on experience preparing chemotherapy infusions
• Sterile compounding (IV room/cleanroom) experience
• Hazardous drug handling and compounding experience (USP <800>)
• Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license (or willingness to obtain before start)

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per week
