What You’ll Do
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations:
- Enter prescription information and process insurance claims
- Prepare, package, and label medications for patient use
- Assist with medication compounding and reconstitution
- Support inventory management and medication restocking
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and clinic staff
- Operate pharmacy systems, including dispensing technology
- Help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient interaction
What You Bring
- Current Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain)
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing, including Medicare and other health plans
- Commitment to serving diverse patient populations with compassion and professionalism
Additional Details
- Exposure to standard pharmacy environments and materials
- Physical activity includes standing, lifting, and movement within the clinic
- Occasional work in our Cave Junction clinic to provide coverage (with mileage paid)
