WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT
Our Warehouse Superintendent is responsible for leading all warehouse operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ensures safe, efficient, and accurate material flow across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Drives inventory accuracy, SAP compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Ensure seamless material flow to support production
- Maintain optimal warehouse capacity and layout
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Planning teams
- Own inventory accuracy (IRA) and cycle count programs
- Enforce FIFO / FEFO practices
- Act as orphan pallet champion
- Lead monthly physical inventories
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ensure accurate SAP transactions (GR, GI, transfers, production confirmations, COGI)
- Monitor SAP reports (LT24, MB51)
- Drive RF scanning compliance
- Partner with IT for system optimization
- Lead and develop supervisors and warehouse teams
- Establish KPIs and accountability
- Conduct Gemba walks and shift huddles
- Build bench strength and succession plans
- Promote strong safety culture
- Ensure GMP compliance
- Support audits.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English is a prerequisite
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related
- 5–10 years warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP experience (MM / WM / IM)
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow
- Experience with RF scanning systems
- Understanding of KPI management and operational performance tracking
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong operational and analytical problem-solving ability
- Ability to drive continuous improvement
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Results-driven with focus on efficiency and accuracy.
