What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal - Freight Team Specialist (R.A.F.T.) position at ZLINE?

Position Overview:
As a Returns and Freight Specialist, you will play a crucial role in carefully assessing and processing exchange and return requests. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with appropriate representatives to address necessary adjustments efficiently and help to facilitate customer special needs. In addition to this, your duties will encompass the creation and dispatching of return labels or emails, along with the management of logistics associated with product retrieval or item disposal. We are seeking an individual who can proactively monitor the RAFT Slack channel, ensuring timely responses to incoming inquiries!
Responsibilities - but not limited to:
- Answering the freight phone line for carriers, vendors, and customers with shipping-related inquiries.
- strong emphasis on teamwork, as you will collaboratively manage return and exchange queues
- Facilitating and monitoring all white-glove deliveries/exchanges.
- Must be able to keep composure in difficult and escalated situations. (Extremely important as we provide solutions to customers having issues at delivery with damaged products or other challenges)
- Collaborate closely with our freight carriers to proactively address delivery issues and fulfill their needs.
- Including reaching out to customers and channel partners to keep them informed about delivery requirements.
- Timely responses to phone calls and emails related to all freight and delivery matters are essential.
