Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel in family law matters, including divorce, time-sharing, and post-judgment proceedings
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and parenting plans
- Conduct thorough legal research (LexisNexis or similar platforms) to support case strategy
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations with professionalism and strong advocacy
- Manage case files efficiently, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and procedural requirements
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex matters, including cases involving domestic violence
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida family law statutes, case law, and procedural rules
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member of The Florida Bar or ability to obtain admission within a reasonable timeframe
- Minimum of 1 year experience handling family law cases (preferred)
- Strong understanding of divorce, time-sharing, alimony, and related issues
- Excellent legal writing and drafting skills
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills
- Familiarity with case management systems and legal document organization
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
Compensation, Benefits & Flexibility
- Base salary commensurate with experience, structured around a minimum average of 14 billable hours per week
- Quarterly bonus opportunity equal to one-third (1/3) of collected revenue for billables exceeding minimum expectations

We welcome candidates nationwide. For qualified out-of-state applicants:
- The firm will reimburse reasonable expenses related to obtaining admission to The Florida Bar (including application and exam fees)
- The firm will provide up to $3,000 in relocation assistance upon successful admission to The Florida Bar and commencement of employment
