Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Educate customers about product effects, usage, and safety guidelines to ensure responsible consumption
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to keep the dispensary fully stocked
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries
• Maintain all company and state standards/policies

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a dispensary or similar environment
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Ability to handle cash accurately, maintain professionalism with phone etiquette, and adhere to all safety and compliance standards
• Knowledge on CRA rules and regulations
