Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through detailed explanations
- Assist customers in selecting products that align with their wellness goals or recreational interests
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible
- Conduct inventory checks and stock replenishment
- Upsell products where appropriate to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and responsible consumption guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments with strong retail math skills
- Very social environment, must be friendly and approachable. More importantly must maintain appropriate boundaries between work and personal life
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities in a retail setting
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
