Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and guide them through product selections with confidence and clarity
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely
- Support supervisory staff by overseeing daily operations, supervising team members when needed, and ensuring compliance with store policies
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer service and cash handling
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Experience with supervising or leading teams is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions
- Knowledge of cannabis products or related industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
