Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of residential and commercial swimming pools. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance of pool equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair various pool systems such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
- Ensure pools are safe and clean for clients by adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each pool.
- Communicate with clients regarding their pool needs and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Stay updated on new products, techniques, and technologies in pool maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with pool maintenance practices, including cleaning techniques and chemical treatments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while managing time efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
