Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones for toddlers and preschoolers
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while encouraging independence and social interaction among children
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments such as standardized testing when applicable
- Incorporate classroom management techniques to foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and play
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and special education practices is highly desirable
- Experience with Montessori or other alternative educational philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare environments
- Previous experience in private school settings or daycare centers is beneficial
