Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being
- Administer medication as per care plans and assist with vital signs when necessary
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts for heavy lifting
- Maintain cleanliness in the living environment through regular cleaning tasks
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship
- Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to appropriate personnel
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities
Qualifications
- Experience in home health care, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality
- Ability to create and follow care plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life
