Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years in production/manufacturing engineering, operations, or management.
- At least 5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (APQP, Control Plans, TQM, SPC).
- Demonstrated experience applying Lean tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP preferred.
- Develop and maintain current and ideal state value stream maps to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive waste elimination and increase value-added activities across the supply chain.
- Lead and mentor engineers, planners, buyers, supervisors, and production employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Oversee production floor activities, including 5S, housekeeping, and material flow.
- Support strategic planning and provide operational input for business objectives.
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead mistake-proofing efforts.
- Manage performance, including hiring, training, evaluations, and recognition.
