Value Stream Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Value Stream Manager to lead and optimize production operations within a defined value stream. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, lean manufacturing expertise, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in production/manufacturing engineering, operations, or management.
• At least 5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (APQP, Control Plans, TQM, SPC).
• Demonstrated experience applying Lean tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP preferred.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current and ideal state value stream maps to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive waste elimination and increase value-added activities across the supply chain.
• Lead and mentor engineers, planners, buyers, supervisors, and production employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Oversee production floor activities, including 5S, housekeeping, and material flow.
• Support strategic planning and provide operational input for business objectives.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and lead mistake-proofing efforts.
• Manage performance, including hiring, training, evaluations, and recognition.
