Import Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented Import Compliance Specialist with 3 years of experience in entry writing and brokerage operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and complete import documentation, support compliance needs, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Import Specialist Job Summary

• Pay: starting at $25-$27
• Shifts Available: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm
• Review and organize import files to ensure all information is accurate and complete
• Communicate with Customer Service when additional documents or information are needed from clients
• Classify documentation based on operations system data and follow client specific SOP’s
• Support the import manager with classification and compliance needs
• Research and Provide HTS or product codes when missing
• Input data entry and handle FDA requirements
• Immediately notify clients when FDA exams are required
• Ensure shipments are released once clearance is completed
• Pass completed files to post entry team
• Monitor releases by customs
  
  

Import Specialist Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of entry writing/and or brokerage experience
• Great communication skills
• HS Diploma
