Tool Maker Job Summary
- $35.46 /hourly
- 2nd Shift, 8 hours
- Full Time/Direct Hire
- Paid vacation, paid holidays, Full Medical, Dental, Vision
- Set-up and perform machine and bench operations necessary to make, alter, or repair tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, or gauges of complex design.
- High school Diploma or General Education (GED) with 2 years vocational school training in machine tool technology a plus
- 5-7 years’ tool room experience preferably in a manufacturing facility.
- Journeymen Tool & Die preferred
- Applied knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics metal properties, layout and machining procedures. Blueprint reading and specification of sketches.
