This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only manage and develop a team, but also drive revenue through direct sales, client engagement, and new business development.
Selling Branch Manager Job Summary
- Pay: $60K–$75K commission
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (In-office, local travel required)
- Lead branch sales efforts through prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Utilize proven selling methodologies to drive revenue and achieve branch goals
- Develop pricing models, proposals, and service strategies to win and retain business
- Manage, coach, and develop a recruiting team to support sales and delivery
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and performance feedback to staff
- Conduct regular client follow-ups and deliver solution-based staffing strategies
- Oversee branch budget and financial performance to ensure profitability
- Monitor team performance and enforce accountability to meet targets
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws (EEOC, ADA, Workers’ Comp, Unemployment)
- Troubleshoot and resolve client and candidate issues as needed
- Be available for flexible hours and on-call responsibilities when necessary
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a staffing sales or business development role is required
- Previous leadership or management experience in a staffing environment preferred
- Strong track record of generating new business and growing accounts
- Excellent coaching, leadership, and team development skills
- Strong problem-solving and client relationship management abilities
- Proficient with PC systems and recruiting/sales tools
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to thrive in a performance-driven, sales-focused environment
