Routing Associate

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced Routing Associate to provide technical support in the routing of delivery schedules, administrative support to the Traffic Manager, and assistance to various members of the Traffic staff.

Hours: 9am-5pm (onsite)

Pay range: $23-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.
• Select appropriate delivery methods to minimize costs while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Organize and schedule Independent Drivers and oversee daily warehouse/traffic operations.
• Adjust and develop shipping schedules as necessary, ensuring order accuracy and productivity levels.
• Coordinate warehouse activities under the direction of the Traffic Manager.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of Lawson and “Road Net” software.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
