Zing Recruiting is partnering with a global manufacturer in the flavors industry in Bedford Park to find a Quality lab technician II to join their growing team. If you’re passionate about quality, food safety, and making sure products meet the highest standards, this is a great opportunity to build your career with an industry leader.Shift: 2nd shift 1pm-930pm Monday through FridayStarting Pay: $25/hr. Responsibilities:Inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process as well as finished product samples to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standardsLog samples and sample flow within QCRetain sample management and sample flow. Performs chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluation of products or incoming ingredients Enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection.Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration proceduresPerform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratoryRequirements:Overall work experience of 4 to 5 years with 1 to 2 years in a similar position. Laboratory and/or QC techniques required.Experience in quality in a Foods manufacturing preferred but not required.Experience using SAP preferred but not required.Vocational diploma (pre-university level) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline * University degree preferred.Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
