Join our innovative and growing team as a Quality Lab Technician. In this role, you will work within a lab setting to ensure the quality of materials and products through various testing methods. Responsibilities
- Check in process and finished products.
- Conduct strength and tensile testing.
- Perform precise measurements down to 1/64th of an inch.
- Prepare samples and load them into the Gas Chromatograph (GC), logging the results.
- Review products for color standards.
- Test seal strength.
- Document results of lab tests accurately.
Essential Skills
- Experience in quality control or lab testing, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as production, manufacturing, or food service.
- Proficiency in chemistry and Gas Chromatography (GC).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in quality control or laboratory work.
Work Environment
You will work in a lab environment and occasionally visit the production floor to collect samples. The position is based on a 2nd shift schedule from 3 PM to 11 PM, with initial training on the 1st shift (7 AM to 3 PM) for 4-6 weeks. Once transitioned to the 2nd shift, a 5% shift differential applies. This role requires collaboration with coworkers in the lab and production personnel on the floor. You will work with films, foils, chemicals, and peelable solutions in a team-based environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
