Project Engineer

Zing partnership, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of complex, large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing innovative systems, products, or processes.

Location: Allentown, NJ

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Primary Functions

• Design/Product Development: Utilize SolidWorks 2024 to design parts for sheet metal, tubing, wire, and injection molded plastic. Prototype using 3D printing and evaluate test data for improvements.
• Manufacturing Support: Create and maintain BOMs, develop work instructions, and generate print packages for manufacturing teams.
• Sales Support: Provide technical assistance to the Sales team and address customer concerns with effective resolutions.
• Marketing Support: Generate technical bulletins and create operating manuals for new products.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software (SolidWorks, Simplify 3D, Revit).
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary for 75% of the time and lift up to 50 lbs.
