What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Princeton Engineering Services, PC?
Design HVAC & plumbing systems including equipment selection, ductwork & piping design. Generate CAD models of systems involving boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and Building Management System. Engineer and develop construction documents including design drawings and project specifications for HVAC, and Plumbing Systems. Prepare scope reports, and MEP drawings. Perform site surveys and resolved construction issues. Follow codes & standards to design CAD models and perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork layout, pipe sizing, & other calculations required to support engineering design. Prepare technical proposals including design approach, project schedule & cost estimates responding to RFPs to acquire new projects. Coordinate with clients and design teams, including owners, architects, contractors, members of other disciplines, & internal support staff to ensure a fully coordinated interdisciplinary design and maintain design consistency with the project goals. Perform construction administrative duties such as responding to RFIs, process bulletins, and addenda, reviewing shop drawings and submittals. Lead a team of engineers and reviewed design documents per client standards by implementing document quality control.
