Summary
Hands?on role building, assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting industrial robots and related equipment using electrical, mechanical, and basic programming skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and modify robotic systems using prints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Install and secure robots and components according to engineering layouts.
- Move and teach robots using a teach pendant, including simple path teaching.
- Load, upgrade, and back up robot software.
- Perform functional testing based on engineering or manufacturing test plans.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Prepare systems for shipment including disassembly and packaging.
- Operate shop equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and pallet movers.
- Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and hazardous material handling.
Minimum Skills & Experience
- At least one year experience in robotics, automation, electrical assembly, or similar technical work.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings (higher levels require full independent interpretation).
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow digital work instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Understanding of safety standards (LOTO, hazardous materials, general industrial safety).
Physical & Work Environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tool use.
- Work in a shop environment with occasional travel or off?site assignments.
- Overtime based on production needs.

- Rolling/lockable toolbox.
- Steel toe boots
