Commercial Lending Specialist
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid: 4 Days In Office / 1 WFH)
Pay: $40–$52/hour | Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Specialist to support a high-volume lending team focused on healthcare real estate loans. This role will manage loan transactions from approval through closing and servicing while acting as a key liaison between internal teams, lenders, and external stakeholders. Knowledge of flood insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage deal flow and coordinate loan closings with Relationship Managers and internal teams
• Review closing documents, due diligence, insurance, and regulatory requirements
• Support loan funding, draws, payments, and servicing activities
• Ensure accurate loan booking, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Communicate with lenders and stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of lending assistant or loan processing experience
• Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and/or C&I loan documentation preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office and system skills (nCino preferred)
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment
