About the Role
Zing is looking for a skilled and reliable Fire Extinguisher Technician who takes pride in hands-on work and keeping people safe. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems in the field, and being the go-to expert for fire protection equipment, this could be a great fit.

You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and installing fire extinguishers and emergency lighting systems for established customers, while delivering top-notch service and clear communication.

What You’ll Do

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers and emergency/exit lighting

• Complete accurate and timely service reports and inspection documentation

• Communicate clearly with customers about work performed and recommended repairs

• Maintain organized van stock and ensure proper inventory levels

• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

• Respond to occasional emergency service calls, including nights and weekends

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 points or less)

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Comfortable using hand tools such as pipe wrenches, channel locks, and drills

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability

• Ability to work flexible hours when needed

Pay & Perks

• $25 to $33 per hour depending on experience

• Quarterly bonus potential

• Time and a half pay for all hours worked between 6pm and 5am

Schedule
Monday through Friday
Hours between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM
