What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep the facility running at full speed by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid downtime
- Diagnose electrical issues fast and fix them even faster
- Install and set up new systems, motors, lighting, and machinery
- Support upgrades and improvements to boost efficiency and safety
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies like a pro
- Track maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, production staff, and contractors
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in electrical or industrial maintenance
- Valid New Jersey Electrical License
- Strong experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Solid understanding of wiring, schematics, and electrical systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools like multimeters
- Ability to troubleshoot quickly and work independently
- Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and general safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Your own hand tools and basic testing equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
