Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform effective repairs.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local and state codes.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls as required by the on-call schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper care and use of company tools and equipment.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and project managers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable field experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Valid New Jersey Journeyman Electrician license is required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A CDL license is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of electrical principles and theory.
