Continuous Improvement

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a world's leading manufacturer and developer of fragrance and flavor compounds, has an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Co-Op. This position will be based in our East Hanover, NJ facility. The schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects that deliver measurable productivity improvements, cost reductions, and KPI enhancements.
• Conduct Lean audits, including 5S and Gemba/Waste walks, to assess baseline performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement events, coordinating project agendas and updates.
• Organize and coordinate Lean and Six Sigma training programs within the facility.
• Assist in the implementation of Visual Management and 5S across plant and office areas to effectively communicate the status of improvement projects.
• Monitor improvement projects from initiation to completion, providing support as needed.
  
  

Success Profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma philosophies, terminology, and tools is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to spend time on the factory floor to implement hands-on LEAN initiatives.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to quickly identify opportunities for operational improvements.
