CNC Programmer – Sheet Metal

Hours: 7:30am-4pm (Half Hour Unpaid Lunch)

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour (Some OT)

2 short paid breaks: 9:45am-10am & 2:15pm-2:30pm

Job Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing sheet metal fabrication team. This role focuses on programming and optimizing CNC equipment including fiber lasers, turret punches, and press brakes.

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Create flat patterns and nesting layouts to reduce material waste
• Generate accurate bend sequences using proper K-factors and bend deductions
• Review engineering drawings and 3D models for manufacturability
• Troubleshoot and improve programs to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time
• Maintain organized program files, setup sheets, and documentation
• CNC programming experience in a sheet metal environment
• Experience using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Radan, and Trumpf is preferred.
• Company-paid training in Radan programming will be provided for qualified candidates.
• Strong understanding of laser cutting, punching, and bending processes
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and GD&T
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
