About the team The Specialist II, Technical Program Management, Marketing coordinates technical programs that support Zillow’s marketing technologies, integrations, data flows, and platform enhancements, ensuring alignment between marketing strategy and technical execution. In this role, you manage moderately complex initiatives across marketing systems, partner with engineering and vendor teams, and help ensure marketing data and tooling are reliable, scalable, and ready to support integrated campaigns and measurement. About the role - Lead end-to-end coordination of moderately complex technical programs that enable marketing campaigns, data integrations, and platform enhancements across teams. - Configure and manage marketing technology workflows, including audience segmentation, data pipelines, and connection points between core marketing platforms and downstream channels. - Translate marketing requirements into clear technical specifications, collaborating with engineering, data, and vendor partners to design, test, and implement solutions. - Monitor data quality, system performance, and integration health for marketing platforms, identifying issues, triaging root causes, and driving timely resolution. - Document and continuously improve standard processes, runbooks, and integration patterns to increase reliability, scalability, and reuse across marketing programs. - Analyze operational and program metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing technology solutions, providing recommendations to optimize workflows and support future roadmap decisions. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside. Who you are - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in technical program management, marketing technology, marketing operations, or a related technical role supporting marketing systems. - Experience coordinating cross-functional work across marketing, engineering, data, and external vendor teams to deliver technical solutions. - Experience working with modern marketing, data, or integration technologies (for example, customer data platforms, marketing automation platforms, APIs, or ETL/data pipeline tools). - Experience using data and metrics to assess program health, identify issues, and recommend improvements to technical workflows.
