Knowledge, skills, tasks, responsibilities:
- Ability to familiarize yourself with existing machinery as well as connect/setup new machinery as required
- Fix basic breakages such as walls, leaking pipes, connectors, bearings, lights and other mechanical issues
- Experience with basic Industrial Electricity, able to trace and identify electrical sources and identify voltage. Experienced changing Motor, Contactors, Starters, Relays, and other electrical components frequently used in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge and basic understanding of PLC’s, VFD’s, and Servo Motors.
- Experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, including understanding of basic system components.
- Basic Welding Skills
- Basic Plumbing Skills
- Must be able to read Technical Manuals and Mechanical and Electrical Drawings/Schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly found in typical maintenance shops.
- Experience of Safe Work Practices of an Industrial Mechanic. Familiarity of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours, able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs), use ladders, work in hot or cold conditions.
- Must be able to conduct business in a professional manner with internal and external contacts.
- Spanish language knowledge is a plus.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Salary : $67,000 - $72,000
