We are looking for an experienced Marine l Systems Technician with a strong work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs and installs
- Must be comfortable working on all boat systems, engines by, Yanmar, Volvo and familiar with working on onboard plumbing systems, and hydraulic systems, troubleshooting and making needed repairs
- Familiarity with ABYC guidelines (certifications a plus!)
- Perform related duties assigned or as the situation dictates
- Maintain updated knowledge of product and industry trends and methods
- Maintain awareness of and continually practice safe work habits
- Maintain cleanliness on projects both during and after job completion
- Work overtime when needed
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb and work safely around the water, on ladders, or in confined spaces
- Capacity to work as a member of a team or by oneself to achieve desired results
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders
