Key Projects And Responsibilities
- BOM vs. TLD Verification
- Review and validate all Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP for accuracy and alignment with Technical Level Documents (TLDs) and Supplier Part Specifications (SPS).
- Ensure BOMs are linked to the appropriate supplier records for accurate ordering.
- Identify and eliminate any vertically integrated BOMs where applicable.
- Master Data Cleanup
- Collaborate with planning and purchasing teams to clean and align master data fields in SAP.
- Maintain and update key planning and purchasing parameters.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm details such as Lead Times, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), Fixed Lot Multipliers, and Country of Origin (COO).
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in developing standard processes for ABC inventory classification.
- Create templates and define procedures for safety stock calculation.
- Document procedures and contribute to SOP development and improvement.
- High School degree & currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables, data cleanup).
- Familiarity with macros, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience working with real-world datasets through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, evolving environments with limited structure.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and finance teams.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach to ambiguous or complex challenges.
