What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport & Depot Procurement Analyst position at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services?
Main Purpose of Role:
To provide specific in-depth analysis for RFI, RFQ and SLA monitoring as well as improvement recommendations.

To provide specific in-depth analysis for RFI, RFQ and SLA monitoring as well as improvement recommendations.
Main Tasks:
- Consolidate all RFI and RFQ data from vendors and provide detail analysis of results
- Generates all reports to monitor vendor performance.
- Generate all reports to measure Procurement performance (savings, and processes).
- Maintains vendor data current in all company systems (contract systems, SAP, etc.)
- Analyses expenditure, volume and market trends and prepares presentations that provide valuable input for negotiations.
- An academic degree in Finance/Economics/Business Analytics/ Industrial Engineering or Management/ Business Management is preferred.
- Ideal 2 years’ experience in an analyst position.
- Knowledge of the global shipping industry (“a plus”).
- Working and in-depth knowledge and experience with MS excel; knowledge and experience with PPT, SAP and BI is an advantage; good internet research skills highly desirable.
