Warehouse Maintenance / Janitor

The Janitor will have knowledge, skills, and abilities to keep the office, warehouse, and overall property clean.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, including:

· Floors mopped daily

· Door windows wiped down daily

· Carpets vacuumed daily

· Trash emptied daily

· Break areas cleaned daily

· Bathrooms cleaned daily

· Conference room cleaned daily

· Warehouse swept daily

· Warehouse break area cleaned twice a day

· Picking up trash around the building

· Dusting the office weekly

· Scrubbing the warehouse floor twice weekly

· Cleaning around trash dumpsters weekly

· Cleaning around yard along fence and product weekly

· Dusting blinds monthly

· Deep clean areas of the office as needed

· Wipe down fire extinguishers

· Clean sections of the warehouse

Qualifications:

The individual should possess:

· 18 years or older

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

· Proficiency in cleaning various surfaces, including floors, restrooms, and other areas. This includes understanding different cleaning products and when to use them

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is essential for completing duties efficiently

· Ability to troubleshoot problems and address them or know when to escalate them

· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

· Thoroughness in cleaning and maintaining cleanliness throughout the site

· Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Ability to operate a forklift, certification will be required after hire.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
• Read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Minimal travel to remote facilities, yards and projects in California.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19.00-$21.00
