What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Caretaker position at Ziggy’s Refuge Farm Sanctuary?
This is a caretaker position working at Ziggy’s Refuge Farm Sanctuary. We are a farm animal rescue that specializes in special needs animals.
The majority of the work consists of cleaning the animal houses which includes but not limited to:
Laundry, mopping floors, preparing beds, sweeping, any other task required to maintain a clean environment for the animals.
You will also be asked to prepare the evening meals for the animals including distributing the proper medications for the individual animals.
We are looking for a hard worker with the ability to both complete the routine daily tasks and also be able to identify on their own additional needs as they arise.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
