Responsibilities

• Provide daily animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health status across multiple species.
• Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
• Administer medications and injections following veterinary instructions accurately and aseptically.
• Handle pet care duties including grooming, walking dogs, and managing pet behavior to promote comfort and trust.
• Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, medication schedules, and behavioral observations using veterinary terminology.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized environment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior kennel experience or hands-on animal husbandry background preferred
• Experience with dog handling and animal restraint techniques essential for safe interactions.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively within a team.
